Step 1 — Raw Material Storage & Preparation
All high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resin pellets and additives are received and stored under controlled conditions prior to production. Material engineers mix base resins with UV stabilizers (anti-aging protection), antioxidants (thermal stability), color master batches, and optional flame retardants (FR requirement) additives according to application requirements before processing begins. Improper additive ratios lead to brittle tarps or color fading — That’s why strict QC is implemented before melting. This controlled preparation ensures the foundation for consistent mechanical performance and long-term outdoor durability in finished tarpaulins.
